Brian Ahearne of Graffiti Youth Theatre in Cork speaks about Dave Lordan’s Multimedia Creativity Workshops

Is my mentoring/book coaching service for you? It might be if:

you are a debut poet trying to gather and perfect a group of poems for a pamphlet or collection.

you have a story to tell about your life or the lives of your family or community

you are a fiction writer looking to up your game and become more original and publishable

Know anyone who needs help in writing a book?

I have been helping people write for twenty years as an editor and mentor and have contributed to the development of many writers and the publication of many debut books of poetry, fiction, and memoir.

I have worked as literary editor and mentor New Island Press, RTE, The Stinging Fly, The Arts Council of Ireland, The Irish Writers Centre, Exchange House Traveller Service, and numerous individual clients.

Through my editorship of three major anthologies of Irish writing I was responsible for the first publication of dozens of authors who went on to publish their own acclaimed books.

My own work in Poetry, Short Fiction, Memoir, & literary video has been published, anthologised, translated or staged by many major publishers and literary festivals in the UK, Ireland, USA, France, Belgium, Italy, Chile, Canada, Serbia, Egypt, Bulgaria and elsewhere; has featured in the world’s leading literary magazines including Granta and Poetry Magazine; has been broadcast regularly on Rte Radio 1, Lyric FM, BBC Radio Ulster.

I am taking on new clients at the moment for autumn/winter.

If you are ready to write that book that’s been inside you waiting to break out for a while, give me a shout at dlordan@hotmail.com
